Menu of the month

An opportunity to let us take you on a culinary journey in the form of a menu planned by our head chef. The menu is often inspired by specific food and wine traditions and customs of a chosen Italian region and always with the use of the best seasonal produce.

STARTER: TORTINO DI SALMONE

Creamy soft cheese mixed with dill and lemon zest, wrapped in smoked salmon. Served with fennel and green apple salad and citrus coulis.

 

MAIN: GUANCE DI VITELLO AL CHIANTI

Slow-cooked veal cheeks on potato purée, Jerusalem artichoke chips, green sauce.

 

DESSERT: MOUSSE DI PISTACCHIO

Pistachio mousse with a wild berry center, served on a delicate almond sponge

3 Courses: kr 455,-     3 Courses w. vin Kr 655 ,-

 

 

WHITE :Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi ” Moncaro ”

       

Region: Marche: Grapes: Verdicchio  Characteristics: A crisp and refreshing white wine, offering vibrant aromas of green apple, citrus and delicate white flowers

 

RED:Rosso di Montalcino ” Fanti “

           

Region:Toscana  Grapes:Sangiovese  Characteristics: Fresh and pleasantly fruity with notes of raspberry, cherry, forest floor, violet and spices.

 

DESSERT: Passito “ Quarta “

Region: Campania Grapes: Coda di volpe Characteristics: Aromas of dried fig, dehydrated apricot and chestnut, honey.
